By accessing this website, we assume you accept these terms and conditions. Do not continue to use Danescapes if you do not agree to take all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Danescapes’ travel services, including tour packages, bookings, itineraries, and optional add-ons (“Services”). By booking a service with us, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.
If you disagree, please do not proceed with a booking.

2 . Booking Confirmation

A booking is considered confirmed only once:

• A deposit or full payment is received, and

• You receive a written email confirmation from Danescapes.

3. Payment Terms

• A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking

• Full payment is due 1 month before the departure date

• Failure to pay on time may result in cancellation without refund

4. Cancellations & Refunds & Amendments

If the traveller cancels the booking, the following fees and conditions apply:

• The 50% deposit is non-refundable.

• 25% of the total amount will be refunded for cancellations made 8 to 29 days before departure.

• No refund will be issued for cancellations made within 7 days of departure.

DanEscapes reserves the right to cancel a tour due to:

• Insufficient participants

• Force majeure (weather, political unrest, natural disasters, etc.)

• Supplier issues or safety concerns

In such cases, travellers will receive:

• A full refund

• An option to reschedule or choose another tour

In case the traveller wishes to make any amendments:

• Traveller-requested changes may incur additional fees

• Amendments are subject to supplier availability

• Last-minute changes cannot be guaranteed

5. Traveller Responsibilities

By booking with us, you confirm that you:

• Hold a valid passport with at least 6 months' validity

• Have secured the necessary visas, travel insurance, and health documents

• Are medically fit to travel

• Will follow local laws and respect cultural norms

• Provide accurate personal information

DanEscapes is not responsible for denied boarding, visa refusal, or entry issues due to incorrect or missing documents.

6. Travel Insurance

Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended.

Your insurance should cover:

• Medical emergencies

• Trip cancellations

• Lost luggage

• Travel delays

• Adventure activities (if applicable)

DanEscapes is not liable for losses not covered by your insurance.

7. Itinerary Changes

Itineraries may change due to:

• Weather conditions

• Transportation delays

• Safety concerns

• Local authority restrictions

DanEscapes reserves the right to:

• Modify routes

• Adjust timings

• Replace activities with alternatives of equal value.

Such changes do not qualify for refunds unless otherwise stated.

8. Optional Tours & Third-Party Services

Third-party operators provide optional activities.

By participating, you acknowledge that:

• DanEscapes acts only as an intermediary

• Liability rests with the provider

• Safety instructions must be followed

• Prices and availability may vary

DanEscapes is not liable for injuries, delays, or cancellations related to optional tours.

9. Tour Liability

DanEscapes is not responsible for:

• Personal injury, loss, or damage not caused by our negligence

• Losses arising from third-party providers

• Flight cancellations or delays

• Natural disasters, political events, or force majeure

• Misbehaviour or negligence by travellers

Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the booked service.

10. Behaviour & Safety

DanEscapes reserves the right to remove any traveller who:

• Causes disruptions

• Acts inappropriately

• Endangers themselves or others

• Violates local laws

No refund will be issued in such cases.

11. Complaints

If you have a complaint:

1. Notify your tour leader or DanEscapes immediately so we can assist.

2. If unresolved, submit a written complaint within 7 days of returning home. We will do our best to resolve the issue promptly.

12. Cookies:

The website uses cookies to help personalise your online experience. By accessing Danescapes, you agree to use the required cookies.

This Agreement shall begin on the date hereof.

Danescapes Ltd does not filter, edit, publish, or review Comments before they appear on the website. Comments do not reflect the views and opinions of Danescapes Ltd, its agents, and/or affiliates. Comments reflect the views and opinions of the person who posts their views and opinions.
